Social
What is the definition of social media?
The definition of social media is any interactive, digital technology, programme or platform that facilitates the sharing of ideas, content, information or interests. As a social marketing agency we see social media as just one piece of the puzzle that brings brands closer to people.
What are the different types of social media?
As a social marketing agency we create organic and paid campaigns and always-on content that run on a range of different types of social media. This includes, but isn’t limited to: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Threads, Twitch, Discord and Reddit.
What’s the best social media platform?
What a question to ask – it’s like trying to pick a favourite child! As a social marketing agency we couldn’t possibly say which is the best social media platform. But we can tell you which is the best social media platform for your brand. Let’s chat about what you want to achieve and we’ll share how and where you need to show up to create real, lasting impact.
Do you do organic and paid social?
Yes, as a social marketing agency, we do it all – organic and paid social.
What platforms would you recommend for a brand to be on?
It would be easy to say, your brand should be on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube – but easy doesn’t necessarily mean it’s correct. We can’t recommend what platforms your brand should be on without knowing what you want to achieve and who you want to speak to. Let's chat about what you want to achieve with your social media presence so we can properly recommend where you need to show up.
Creator
What is an influencer?
A creator (or influencer) is someone who produces something and brings it into existence. They can work in any medium, for example creating art, content or ideas. An influencer is a person or collective that is influential to a community, aesthetic, or product. But, we know, the line between these two is hazy and that people and brands use both to signal the same thing, so we won’t be confused if you ask for an influencer marketing campaign but really want to work with a creator.
What do you base your influencer selection on?
As an influencer marketing agency we create rich and rewarding bonds between brands and people via creators and celebrities. We base our influencer selection on real data and real insights to make sure we’re working with real advocates of your brand. You won’t find us picking influencers with big followings but low engagement with your target audience. After learning all there is to know about your brand and your target audience, we dig into our third-party audited software to find creators that are guaranteed to deliver outstanding results.
What do influencers do?
Creators and influencers are brand advocates, followed for their insights and taste. They create or feature in content that can play out across owned, earned and paid channels – whether that’s social, OOH or above the line.
What are the different influencer tiers?
There are five creator tiers, each defined by how they impact their community and the style of engagement they might receive. For instance, a niche creator might have a small following, but high engagement rate, which delivers strong conversion for a brand. Meanwhile, a celebrity might be strong on awareness, but low on impressions. The five tiers are: Celebrity, Elite, Established, Emerging and Entry.
